A few weeks ago we participated in a Treasure Hunt at Paihia School, to fundraise for the I Am Hope foundation which helps kiwi kids who have mental health problems by providing free counselling and support when they need it. We all had to bring a gold coin if we wanted to do the Treasure Hunt. Also instead of finding prizes around the school the principal hid little pictures of gumboots. There were numbers on the back of the pictures of gumboots that represented a prize we would get. We had as much time as we needed to find all of the pictures of gumboots. Also a rule was when we found one of the gumboots we had to take is to the principal so she knew who to give the prize to at the end. When all of the prizes were found the principal called our name if we got a prize. I found two of the gumboots, my two prizes were eskimo pies. Over all the Treasure Hunt was really fun. Have you ever done a Treasure Hunt?
