Cool Conversion

Cool Conversion.
In Te ngahere this week we have been learning how to convert
between fractions, decimals and percentages. We were given
a worksheet and we had to make a screencastify. This is what
we created.

What was hard? When we had to convert a fraction into a decimal it was hard because the process was more complicated. What wasn’t hard? Converting a decimal into a percentages wasn’t hard because there was only two steps.

Are you good at converting between fraction, decimals and percentages?

Trick shot challenge.

In Te ngahere this week we have been doing a trick shot challenge. We had to create out trick shot using the success criteria, It must bounce off a surface, you must use cardboard, It has to take at least 3 seconds from start to finish and It must land in the cup.

What didn’t work well? When we didn’t bend the cardboard the
ping pong ball kept falling off, What work well? We worked well
in our team to create a cool trick shot, What would you do
differently next time? Next time we can make our trick shot
more interesting and change our throwing angles so that it will
be more likely to land in the cup.

Have you ever done a trick shot challenge?
