Do you have maths eyes?

We Are Learning To identify maths in the world around us using
our maths eyes. 

In Te Ngahere for math this week we have been learning about
math eyes. We were given a photo of gingerbread men and we
had to find things using our maths eyes. Here is what we found.
All the gingerbread men have walked through some mud, the
gingerbread men have got really badly styled hats, the ginger-
bread men are all smiling, All the m&ms are different colors, the
m&ms are crooked, I can see 12 gingerbread men,  I can see
24 m&ms, all of their smiles are different, only one of the ginger-
bread men has got two of the same color m&ms on his front,
At first finding math in the picture of the gingerbread men was
hard but when you look at it for a while it got easier to find things.
I found that find all of the math things in the picher was had and
also finishing all of the work on time.
